Christine at the sewing blog From An Igloo reviewed this pattern and here’s what she had to say: “Lori’s doll carrier pattern is really easy to understand and includes all of the hand holding required to make this adorable doll carrier. Let me tell you this too, if you are new to sewing and scared of zippers, this is the perfect pattern to try. Lori’s instructions are simple and easy and I’m certain you will have no problems with the zipper!”

I downloaded your doll carrier pattern and have been looking at our local fabric stores and on the internet, and simply cannot find the double backed quilted fabric –could you tell me where I might find it?
    Thank you.

I buy my fabric and Jo Ann’s, Hobby Lobby, and every once in a while a specialty quilt shop if it is on sale. Mostly, though I quilt the fabric myself. However, you do not have to use quilted fabric to make these doll carriers. You could use a heavier weight home dec fabric (printed duck cloth from the bolt), embellished denim fabric, or a combination of calico prints that have a layer of batting between them. I hope this helps you with your project.

Hello, I purchased the doll carrier backpack and was not sure if I got it right.

Does the pattern that I purchased for $10 include the patters for the backpack doll carrier for the large and small dolls and just a backpack by itself? I really like what I saw.
